Pay Rate: $45 – $50 per hour
Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Special Education Early Childhood (ECSE) Teacher to support young learners in a self-contained behavioral classroom environment. The teacher will provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with developmental and behavioral needs while maintaining a structured, safe, and supportive classroom setting.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in behavior management, individualized instruction, and early childhood special education, with the ability to implement strategies that support each student’s academic, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead instruction in a self-contained Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) classroom.

Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.

Provide individualized instruction tailored to early childhood learners with special needs.

Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and positive behavior support strategies.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of academic and behavioral goals.

Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, administrators, and families to support student success.

Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Utilize evidence-based behavior management and de-escalation techniques.

Ensure compliance with all special education policies, procedures, and state regulations.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field.

Valid Special Education Teaching Certification (state-specific).

Experience working with Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students.

Training and experience in behavior management and classroom interventions.

Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
