Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Tampa, FL. This on-site position is available immediately through May 29, 2026, with flexible options for full-time or part-time hours. You’ll have the chance to make a real difference with K-12 students across several schools, focusing on communication development and student success.
Roles are available at Seven Springs Elementary (5 days/week – prioritized), Bayonet Point Middle, Pine View Elementary, Moon Lake Elementary, Deer Park Elementary, and Fivay High School. Assignments vary from 1 to 5 days per week, offering variety and flexibility.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active Florida Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license required
- ASHA Certification (CCC) highly desired; Clinical Fellows (CF) encouraged to apply
- Not accepting SLP Assistants (SLPAs)
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings a plus
- Ability to travel between sites as scheduled
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
- Must complete or verify school fingerprinting through the AHCA Clearinghouse (JLA badge required; process may take up to 14 business days)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students as assigned
- Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, families, and other professionals
- Monitor student progress and document ongoing therapy outcomes
- Participate in school-based teams and support a positive learning environment
