About Psychological Dimensions (PD)

Psychological Dimensions is an Atlanta-based, nationwide, industry-leading police and public safety forensic consulting firm. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art psychological risk management evaluations and consultation to public safety agencies and corporate organizations nationwide. We conduct pre-employment psychological screening, wellness programs, critical incident debriefings, specialty assignment evaluations (e.g., SWAT), and fitness-for-duty assessments.

The Role

We are seeking aforward-thinking Operations Managerwho combinesexceptional leadership discipline with innovative problem-solving. This role is not just about keeping operations running smoothly, its aboutbuilding stronger systems, creating safeguards, and driving innovationthat allows our firm to thrive at scale.


You will be the leader who ensures employees are supported with clear expectations, structured meetings, and measurable goals, while also bringingingenuity, laser focus, and cutting-edge ideasto modernize our workflows. From implementingquality control checks and fail-safes for critical processesto identifyingAI-driven efficiencies and operational improvements, you will be both theguardian of reliabilityand thearchitect of innovationat Psychological Dimensions.


This position is critical toensure our psychologists can focus on client services while you strengthen the systems, teams, and workflows that keep our nationwide practice performing at its best.

Key Responsibilities

Employee/Contractor Management (25%)

  • Providestrong supervisory leadership: set clear expectations, hold weekly 1:1s, and create action plans with accountability and follow-through.
  • Conduct regularquality control checksof staff performance and workflows, ensuring processes are carried out consistently and accurately.
  • Implementchecks and balancesin supervisory oversight to prevent bottlenecks, errors, or dependency on a single individual.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members through quarterly and annual reviews, driving measurable growth.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of administrative and clinical roles with a focus on cultural fit and operational excellence.

Scheduling & Operational Flow (40%)

  • Ensure agency demand is met with accurate scheduling; performdaily audits and three-day forward reviewsto catch and resolve potential issues early.
  • Createfail-safes and redundanciesin scheduling systems to safeguard against double-booking, last-minute cancellations, or critical service disruptions.
  • Standardize scheduling processes across sites and leadcontinuous improvement projectsthat simplify workflows and reduce error rates.
  • Respond to escalated concerns with asolutions-focused mindset, working quickly to resolve and prevent recurrence.
  • Research and implementAI-driven scheduling and forecasting toolsto improve capacity planning, efficiency, and service reliability.

Business Functions & Innovation (25%)

  • Partner with the Director of Operations on strategic initiatives that improve scalability and operational resilience.
  • Manage AP, vendor relations, and compliance, while conductingperiodic system reviews to verify accuracy and identify risk points.
  • Developprocess fail-safes and contingency plansfor critical functions such as invoicing, licensing, and insurance renewals.
  • Lead cross-departmentalprocess reviews and quality assurance checks, ensuring critical workflows are reliable, efficient, and auditable.
  • Proactively introducetechnology solutions, workflow automations, and AI integrationsthat strengthen organizational performance.

Self-Development (10%)

  • Stay up to date on best practices insupervision, operations leadership, and quality control.
  • Regularly evaluate PDs systems with acritical and forward-looking lens, bringing new, innovative solutions to leadership that address emerging needs and risks.

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations or business management (healthcare/consulting setting preferred).
  • Proven excellence in managerial and supervisory leadership, including setting clear expectations, running structured weekly meetings, and driving accountability through measurable goals and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, fostering growth and cross-training for operational resilience.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with a track record ofbuilding systems that reduce errors and enhance accountability.
  • Quality control mindset: skilled in establishing regular system audits, checks and balances, andfail-safes for critical processesto safeguard operational integrity.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused problem solver who anticipates challenges and develops systems to prevent breakdowns.
  • Innovative thinkerwho brings ingenuity, laser focus, and forward-looking ideas to streamline operations, includingworkflow automation and AI-driven improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/HR software (Acuity, BambooHR, PsiWare, etc.).
  • Financial acumen with experience in accounts payable, invoicing, and collections.
  • Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Competitive salary range: $72,000$85,000, commensurate with experience.
