FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center (@SLIC) is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care Monday through Friday (Morning shifts, 3-4 hours & every other weekend). This will be for a disabled male in the Lake Charles area. The candidate must have a valid drivers license.
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Drivers License
- Working Cell Phone with Data Plan (Must have access to an email account and must be able to download 2 Company Apps)
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
- Commitment to excellent client care
- Must have Patience, Compassion, Positive Attitude, and be a Team Player
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Light Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Assist with toileting
- Accompanying consumer to dr. appointments
- assist with bathing and dressing
PAY:
$9.00 per hour with (plus extra weekly bonus)
JOB TYPES:
Part-time
SCHEDULE:
Monday through Friday, Morning shifts (3-4 hours)
Every other weekend

Consumers Home in Lake Charles Area
