Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to serve K-12 students in an educational setting located in Roanoke, AL. This role offers the opportunity to apply professional expertise in speech and language therapy within a dynamic school environment, supporting students communication needs throughout the academic calendar year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students communication development.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, evaluations, and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings, providing insight on speech and language accommodations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and maintain compliance with school policies.
