Accountant
LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant for our central Houston area client. This role offers the opportunity to manage accounts receivable and payable, perform general ledger reconciliations, and work closely with vendors in a people-oriented environment. Hybrid work schedule.
Primary Responsibilities of the Accountant role:

Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes

Manage invoice inventory and perform general ledger reconciliations

Prepare and enter journal vouchers
-
Assist with weekly income statement estimates and reporting
-
Support the period, quarter, and year-end closing processes
-
Analyze general ledger accounts and prepare associated schedules
-
Provide backup and cross-training for Accounting and Accounts Payable
-
Monitor and follow up on customer trade receivables
-
Assist in the annual financial planning process, including capital budgets
Primary qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
-
1-2 years of experience in accounting, including internships
-
Working knowledge of GAAP requirements
-
Strong analytical and organizational skills
-
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
