OverviewAs a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, providing expert assistance with their personal lines insurance needs! You will handle inquiries, process policy changes, and resolve issues with efficiency and professionalism. Your dedication to customer satisfaction will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation for outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and emails from clients regarding their personal lines insurance policies
  • Assist customers with inquiries about policy details, claims, premiums, and coverage options
  • Process policy changes, updates, renewals, and cancellations as requested by clients
  • Explain different types of personal lines insurance policies and coverage options to customers
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to ensure satisfaction and provide appropriate solutions
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying customer complaints, determining the cause, and selecting the best solution
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and policy changes
  • Upsell and cross-sell insurance products and services to existing customers based on their needs
  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and sales departments to ensure all client needs are met
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with the service provided


Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Property and Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously


Schedule: Monday - Thursday (8:00AM - 5:00PM), Friday (7:30AM - 4:00PM)
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 Annually
