What You will Do:
- Document current manufacturing operations
- Document hidden factory capture
- Perform time studies for production lines
- Review, create, and update electronic manufacturing work instructions for related manufacturing processes
- Update inspection-related instructions to adhere to current processes
What You Will Bring:
- Degree in engineering, technical writing, or equivalent
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience
- Manufacturing experience required
- Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
- Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
Desired Skills:
- Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering experience a plus
- Previous experience with electro-mechanical products preferred
- Previous experience with documenting manufacturing processes preferred
- Proficient with GD&T concepts
- Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
- Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders
- Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
- Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred
Work Requirements:
- This role is considered an on-site position located in Boyne City, MI
- Mostly Shop Floor Environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement
- Substantial amounts of computer work
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
