A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician in Shelby Township, MI. The role would be working for a major healthcare company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $18–$22 per hour

  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

  • The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

  • Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist

  • Locate correct medication and strength to complete picking of order

  • Prepare, count, label, and package pharmaceuticals for pharmacist approval

  • Contact prescriber offices to clarify or obtain new prescriptions on behalf of patients

  • Provide periodic status updates to patients

  • Enter prescription data accurately into system

  • Maintain prescription logs, inventory reports, and temperature/cleaning logs

  • Discard or return discontinued/expired medications and document accordingly

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards

  • Support transition from ScriptMed Enterprise to ScriptMed Cloud by handling additional workload

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

  • 2–4 years of pharmacy experience (retail, infusion, or medical office accepted)

  • Familiarity with medications used for chronic/debilitating conditions

  • State pharmacy technician license (Missouri or state-specific depending on location)

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • Experience with data entry in a pharmacy setting

  • Previous experience in home infusion or high-volume retail pharmacy
