Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a Maryland-licensed IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician for a full-time 13+ week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sterile compounding technicians to join a professional and supportive team.

Windsor Mill, MD 21244

Term of Assignment:
ASAP start 13+ week contract

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday Friday, 11:00 AM 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends as needed based on business needs.

Environment:
Sterile Compounding / Long Term Care Pharmacy

Overview:
The IV Pharmacy Technician will assist a Registered Pharmacist by accurately filling prescriptions, preparing sterile compounded medications, and performing data entry while adhering to all regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain Sterile Compounding room per USP 797 guidelines
Prepare and compound sterile medications under pharmacist supervision in a Class 100 clean room
Accurately fill prescriptions and perform data entry
Handle Long Term Care orders and Emergency Drug Kit replenishment
Maintain and account for equipment
Stock IV department areas and assist with safety checks
Adhere to HIPAA regulations and report any concerns promptly
Support facility calls and assist with customer service as needed
Follow all safety, attendance, and dress code policies
Overtime, holiday, and weekend work may be required
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:
Active and clear Maryland Pharmacy Technician license
Minimum 2 years of IV Sterile Compounding experience
Recent pharmacy experience required
