Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Registration Representative to support the Emergency Room (ER) team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for patients in a high-paced healthcare environment. This position is a 13-week contract role with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to patient care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Register patients arriving in the Emergency Room (ER)
• Manage the arrival desk, performing quick and accurate registrations
• Apply patient identification armbands and guide patients to the appropriate lobby areas
• Conduct bedside registrations using mobile carts
• Visit patient rooms regularly to complete or update registration tasks
• Register patients in inpatient units as needed
• Rotate between different registration stations including bedside, arrival desk, and lobby functions

Qualifications and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Experience:

• Clinical experience preferred
• Open to candidates with strong customer service or retail experience
• Previous experience in patient registration or healthcare settings is a plus

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with mobile registration equipment
