Salesforce Systems Administrator
San Diego, CA - San Jose, CA - Remote
Summary:
The Salesforce Developer/System Administrator provides multi-levels of technical support for the ongoing Monarch Projects. Provides direction and clarification to 3rd party support vendors while representing WESTPAK's best interest. Works with the Program Manager, CEO, Leadership team, and IT to develop best practice technical strategies and solutions to support WESTPAK’s Mission, Vision, Goals, and Objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned as needed)
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily technical support for all things Project Monarch – Salesforce, CPQ, Partner Communities, Reporting and Dashboards, Einstein Analytics, Pardot, Live Agent, Financial Force (FFA, SCM, PSA, PO, Requisitions), TWD (QE, CAPA, Audit, Change Control, Training Mgmt, Document Mgmt), Supplier, Equipment Mgmt, Conga, Hello Sign (Dropbox)
- Manage and maintain multiple environments under one organization.
- Follow the defined rollout iteration process using Gearset and Bitbucket or Chainset
- Follow the defined and best practices deployment iteration process – sandbox1 – sandbox2 – production
- Ensure all environments are in sync
- Utilize Dataloader.io for uploads and exports
- Develop, maintain, and debug VisualForce, APEX Classes and Triggers
- Develop, maintain, and debug Workflow rules and actions
- Design and develop declarative automation using Process Builder, Flows, Approval Process
- System administration of core and custom objects – creation, modification and removal of record types, page layouts, fields, validation rules, buttons/actions
- System administration of users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules
- Responsible for releases and updates from our software vendors
- Partner Communities - modifications and enhancements
- Develop, validate and document custom development, integration and data migration elements
- Follow and understand Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases
- Support and deploy seasonal releases and critical updates
- Collaborate with IT regarding best practices, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity as it relates to Monarch
- Communicate effectively with all end users
- Provide support for UAT, OQ. PQ testing
- Follow and adhere to an Agile methodology utilizing JIRA and Sprints

Qualification Requirements

Requirements for Eligibility
- BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of hands on Salesforce developer experience
- 3+ years of hands on System Administration experience
- Salesforce System Administrator certification
- Salesforce Developer certification
- Working knowledge with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Apex, Data migration, Partner Communities, SOOQL Apex, C++, Java, SQL, MySQL
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com development, including the modification of standard objects and fields and the creation of custom objects and fields
- Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions
- Proficient with Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboard and logic formulas
- Hands on experience with deployments and a best practice deployment protocol
- Working knowledge of Gearset and Dataloader.io
- Experience with Einstein is a plus
- Knowledge of Financial Force – Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Professional Services Automation is a plus
- Hands on experience with Conga templates and queries
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems is a plus
- Previous work with agile methodology and project management
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Excellent written and oral communication and customer service
- In-depth knowledge of APIs and experience building integrations within Salesforce.com.

Work Environment
The work environment is a laboratory environment, with frequent involvement in manufacturing areas, production, and warehouse/distribution, including exposure to moving parts and machines.
Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required to perform this job include close vision. Occasional lifting is required.

Position Salary: $110,000 - $130,000.
