Project Architect – Healthcare
We are seeking a Project Architect who has focused on creating healing spaces that elevate patient well-being, improve care delivery, and support clinical excellence. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of healthcare projects ranging from outpatient clinics to behavioral health facilities, each with a direct impact on how patients receive care and how providers deliver it.
You will manage multiple small to midsize projects simultaneously and serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring every project is delivered with precision, innovation, and compassion.

Healthcare Project Types You’ll Lead:
You will work across a diverse portfolio of healthcare environments, including:

What You’ll Do:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of healthcare architecture projects from concept to completion.
- Develop and execute strategic project plans to ensure successful outcomes that meet client expectations, clinical requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Partner with clients as the primary point of contact, guiding conversations on project scope, budget, schedule, and design decisions.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams with a focus on quality, technical excellence, and seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and oversee project documentation, specifications, and construction administration processes.
- Apply knowledge of healthcare codes and standards (FGI Guidelines, NFPA, ADA, IBC) while incorporating evidence-based and patient-centered design principles.
About You:
- 8+ years of professional architectural experience with a strong background in healthcare, outpatient, or medical facility projects.
- Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
- Architectural license preferred; active pursuit of licensure considered.
- Familiarity with clinical programming, care models, and the unique challenges of ambulatory, outpatient, and behavioral health settings.
- Ability to lead project teams, manage client relationships, and oversee budgets, schedules, and project quality.
