We are looking for a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist who can apply their expertise in computer science, mathematics, and engineering to design, develop, and evaluate algorithms and techniques for solving complex cryptographic and security-related problems. The ideal candidate will create and utilize mathematical models and methods to study cryptographic systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to secure sensitive information. Additionally, you will work on high-performance computing projects to optimize cryptographic processes and address security challenges across diverse computing environments.
The Level 4 Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist shall possess the following capabilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate algorithms and techniques for solving complex cryptographic and security-related problems.
- Create and utilize mathematical models and methods to study cryptographic systems, analyze vulnerabilities, and develop solutions to secure sensitive information.
- Work on high-performance computing projects to optimize cryptographic processes and address security challenges across diverse computing environments.
- Endpoint and Malware Exploitation Activities
- Strong dev skills with large software projects (mainly Python, Rust, Java, C, C++) combined with CNO experience
- Able to work with reverse engineering output for re-engineering purposes
- Ability to work solo on all facets of software projects
- Strong Linux sys admin (setup distros, manage firewalls, custom VM builds)
- Experience with container orchestration solutions (Docker-swarm, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (Ansible)
- Requires innovation and rapid customized development solutions plus deployment/execution planning/monitoring/deconfliction
- Able to blend/obfuscate deployed tool comms and get around admin detection of activities
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree with 11 years of relevant experience
- Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
- Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing.
Must Have an ACTIVE TS/SCI With Full Scope Poly.
