A K-12 educational institution in Easton, PA is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide essential healthcare services throughout the school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to support student health and well-being within a dynamic school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver prehensive nursing care to students, including first aid, medication administration, and health assessments
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to address student health concerns and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions among the student population
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in health education initiatives and promote wellness practices within the school munity
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN or LVN licensure as required by the state
- Experience working in a school setting preferred, with knowledge of pediatric nursing principles
- Ability to municate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- CPR and First Aid certification
