Job DescriptionApex is assisting a well-established manufacturer in Howell, MI looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the logistics and distribution process. What your day will look like:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials
- Label, organize, and prepare outgoing shipments
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload deliveries
- Maintain detailed records of all inbound and outbound shipments
- Work closely with team members to meet shipping schedules
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
What we are looking for:
- Proficiency with forklift operation
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400) preferred
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, picking, and packing processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is a plus
