Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC is seeking highly skilled and motivated Computer Engineers (Level III and Level IV) to support advanced cybersecurity and IT initiatives. These roles involve designing, developing, and securing complex computer systems and networks, with a strong emphasis on supporting U.S. Navy programs and operations.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement secure computer systems and networks.

Develop and maintain software solutions with a focus on security and performance.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical Navy operations.

Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and standards.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Network Security, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required for both Level III and Level IV positions.

Certifications: Must meet the requirements of DFARS 252.239-7001 for Information Assurance Contracting Training and Certification.

Experience:

Computer Engineer III:

Minimum 7 years of professional experience in one or more of the following: computer design, software development, or computer network security.

Computer Engineer IV:

Minimum 10 years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer network security.

At least 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity/Cyber Defense engineering and management.

Minimum 7 years of experience supporting U.S. Navy programs or operations.

Preferred Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.

Certifications (any one of the following):

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)

Experience:

Demonstrated leadership in cybersecurity initiatives.

Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Familiarity with Navy cybersecurity compliance standards and frameworks.
