Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description

Growing construction, fabrication, and installation company is looking for an Estimator who will be growing into project management. You will oversee projects from initial planning through final close-out, while also analyzing costs, materials, labor, and timelines for new and ongoing work.

If you enjoy owning projects end-to-end, working cross-functionally, and keeping both the operational and financial sides on track, this could be a great next step. Hybrid work schedule with two days WFH.

What You’ll Do

• Review drawings, concepts, and specs to determine the most cost-effective fabrication and installation approach
• Calculate labor, materials, subcontracting, outsourcing, and engineering needs
• Prepare estimates for new projects and change orders
• Analyze cost variances and update pricing models based on real project data
• Maintain accurate records of estimated vs. actual costs
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and communication as projects move into production

What You Bring

• 3+ years of estimating or related experience
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings
• Any Project Management experience is a plus
• Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus
• Epicor experience is a plus
• College degree is beneficial but not required
