Job Title: Mechanical AutoCAD 3D Draftsman
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical AutoCAD 3D Draftsman to support engineering and construction projects by preparing accurate technical drawings across mechanical, piping, structural, civil, electrical, and HVAC disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D/3D drawings, including GA drawings, P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and shop drawings using AutoCAD.
- Revise drawings based on engineer and client feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with specifications.
- Support procurement, fabrication, and construction teams with technical drawings.
- Review vendor drawings for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure drawings meet industry standards (ASME, API, ANSI, NFPA, ISO, OSHA).
- Maintain proper documentation, version control, and drawing records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, piping, structural, HVAC, and electrical drafting.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical specifications.
- Experience with plant layouts, piping isometrics, and fabrication drawings.
- High attention to detail and strong coordination skills.
