Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is hiring an experienced IV Pharmacy Technician for a contract position in Windsor Mill, MD.This is a full-time opportunity with a strong chance of extension. Candidates must have recent sterile compounding experience and be ready to start as soon as possible.

Position Details:

• Assignment Term: 13+ weeks (ASAP start)
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 11:00am 7:30pm
• Rotating weekend coverage as needed
• Environment: Long-Term Care, Sterile Compounding

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP 797 guidelines
• Maintain and clean sterile compounding areas (Class 100 clean room)
• Accurately fill prescriptions and perform data entry under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with facility calls and customer communication
• Replenish Emergency Drug Kits for Long Term Care facilities
• Perform inventory, stock IV areas, and conduct safety checks
• Adhere to HIPAA, safety protocols, attendance, and dress code policies
• Work flexible hours including overtime, holidays, and weekends as required

Requirements:

• Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum of 2 years of recent IV sterile compounding experience
• Prior pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care or sterile environment
