\n Number of Beds - CPCU - 14 beds, PCU- 14 beds
\n Number of Staff – 1
\n Type of staff:
\n Day Shift – M-F 8-4:30
\n Night Shift -
\n Patient Ratios – 1:14
\n Type of equipment -
\n EMR – Meditech and Midas
\n Typical hiring profile
\n Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
\n Minimum 1-year current acute Care Case Manager RN experience
\n RN or Licensed social worker
\n BLS
\n Active KS licensure
\n Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
\n Midas and HCA case management experience
\n Prior HCA Hospital experience
\n List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
\n Case management assessment
\n Discharge planning

\n Flexible, this is a very busy, fast paced environment that is constantly changing

\n Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment:
\n These units have consistent physicians and mid-levels to work closely with. CPCU is our cardiac step-down unit and where our CABG and TAVR patients go. There are some post-acute placements, but many go home with cardiac rehab.
\n PCU- is a medical step-down unit with a variety of patients.
\n Overall, our case management team is very welcoming, very collaborative and helpful. The team is always willing to answer questions and support new staff.
