Job Title: Engineering Manager

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Compensation: $145-160K

Industry: Aerospace / Precision Machining

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects from development through production.
• Oversee daily operations of machining production, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence tools.
• Drive product, design, and process improvements.
• Analyze internal metrics and implement cost reduction strategies to improve efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with aerospace industry standards and customer requirements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and high performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Proven success in implementing LEAN manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards.
• Background in CNC machining and precision manufacturing.
