Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow opportunity is available for the upcoming school year from August 5 to May 22 in a K-12 educational setting located in Walhalla, South Carolina. This contract position involves working with students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their communication needs through comprehensive speech-language services.
Key responsibilities include conducting assessments and evaluations, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing direct and indirect therapy services aligned with students' individualized goals. The role offers paid administrative time and participation in team meetings, ensuring collaborative support and professional development within the school community.
Qualifications and experience sought for this position include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or interest in healthcare, pediatrics, and school-based practice
- Eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Possession of a valid South Carolina SLP license and Educator Speech-Language Therapist Certificate
- Ability to complete necessary fingerprinting requirements prior to starting
This position does not accept Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). Candidates should be prepared to work within the full scope of practice for speech-language pathology within an educational environment, supporting diverse student populations.
