Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Bookkeeper to join our team must have 3-5 years experience. In this role, you will work closely with the Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and ensure the companys compliance with all legal requirements. Your responsibilities will include recording and verifying transactions, bringing the books to the trial balance stage, and completing tax forms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data and transactions
- Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
- Prepare weekly balance sheets, and monthly budgets
- Analyze budgets and other financial information
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete required tax forms
- Process semi monthly payroll
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field
- Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, ADP RUN and basic accounting systems
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
