We’re looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our night-shift team in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. In this role, you’ll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment.

You’ll perform multi-craft maintenance—including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical work—on heavy industrial systems. This is a great opportunity for a dependable industrial maintenance mechanic who takes pride in troubleshooting problems, improving equipment reliability, and working as part of a skilled maintenance team.

If you have experience as a maintenance technician, millwright, mechanic, or manufacturing technician, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure safe, reliable production equipment operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical power transmission systems.
  • Conduct basic electrical maintenance under lockout/tagout (LOTO); assist with PLC and HMI diagnostics.
  • Maintain and repair cranes, hoists, conveyors, and mechanical systems throughout the plant.
  • Safely rig, lift, and move heavy equipment; operate forklifts and mobile equipment when certified.
  • Complete and document work orders and PM inspections in the CMMS system.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for technical support or components.
  • Communicate clearly with operators, engineers, and supervisors on maintenance priorities.
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and site procedures to maintain a zero-injury culture.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Practical experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls.
  • Comfortable using computers for maintenance documentation (CMMS).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in heavy industrial, metal, or foundry maintenance.
  • Apprenticeship, technical certificate, or equivalent training in Industrial Maintenance, Millwrighting, or Mechanics.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with PLC/HMI systems for troubleshooting.
  • Experience with crane maintenance, safe rigging, and mobile equipment operation.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA / OHSA safety practices.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Night shift (6 PM – 6 AM) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (work every other weekend).
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Work performed in a hot-metal manufacturing facility with heat, noise, and occasional confined spaces.
  • Company-provided PPE and safety gear must be worn at all times.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay and performance-based raises
  • Long-term career growth in a stable, essential manufacturing industry
  • Hands-on training and opportunities for cross-skill development
  • Excellent team culture focused on safety, reliability, and respect
