Warranty & Repair Coordinator
Join a Leading Team in the Heavy-Duty Vehicle Service Industry Location: Fox Valley area | Hourly pay $22/hr - $30/hr Full-Time
Do you have a sharp eye for detail, a solid mechanical background, and the drive to keep things running smoothly? We’re seeking a Warranty & Repair Coordinator to support our Tractor/Trailer Service department the crucial link between service operations, customers, and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Service Manager, you'll handle warranty claims, repair orders, and customer communication.
Your work will keep our service department organized, compliant, and running at peak efficiency.
Process and submit warranty claims; follow up on rejections and payments Manage repair orders (open, close, file) and warranty documentation
Track and tag warranty parts; manage returns and scrapping processes
Monitor OEM bulletins, factory recalls, and vehicle campaigns
Coordinate preventative maintenance for fleet vehicles
Dispatch road service calls, communicate with customers, and update repair statuses
Post and reconcile technician timecards; generate productivity and efficiency reports
Serve as department receptionist and provide general administrative support
Fill in for the Service Manager when needed
Qualifications:
Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver License (CDL) is preferred
Minimum 5 years of repair shop experience, with 2 years in a lead, supervisory, or warranty administration role
Strong understanding of OEM warranty programs, technical bulletins, factory recalls, vehicle campaigns, fleet operations, and quality control methods
High school diploma or GED
Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk for up to 8 hours a day Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and documentation Occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crawling Close vision and hearing required for phone and written communications Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up one flight of stairs
