Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist to support a K-12 school district in Groveport, OH. The contract position starts ASAP and runs through the end of May, with potential for renewal or buyout pending district approval. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services across preschool through high school student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to support special education eligibility and student interventions
- Collaborate with educators and families in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Manage caseloads in compliance with operating standards limits
- Utilize SameGoal as the IEP system for documentation and reporting
- Complete Medicaid billing in accordance with district guidelines
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and professional development days with prior approval
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure
- Experience working with students across all grade levels (PS, ES, MS, HS)
- Proficiency with IEP development and the SameGoal platform
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes for school-based services
- Ability to manage multiple buildings and caseloads efficiently
- Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
Work Schedule and Environment:
- 37.5 hours per week, with approved flexibility for conferences and PD days
- Assignment locations across multiple buildings within the district, as determined
