A school district in South Dakota is seeking multiple Special Education Teachers for K-12 students for the upcoming school year. These full-time, on-site positions run from August through May, offering a rewarding opportunity to support diverse learners in an inclusive educational environment.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with general education teachers and support staff, and monitoring student progress to ensure academic and social growth. Candidates should be prepared to manage classroom behavior, communicate regularly with families, and maintain accurate documentation according to state and district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- South Dakota Special Education licensure (current or pending) is requiredplease note that processing can take some time

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Schedule: Approximately 37.5 hours per week, on-site only
