Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a full-time 13+ week contract-to-hire opportunity in a non-traditional mail order pharmacy setting in Chula Vista, California.

Pharmacy Hours: Monday Sunday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM.
(Shift end times may vary depending on workload.)

Responsibilities:

Product verification of boxed diabetic medical supplies (CGMs, insulin pumps)
Overseeing fulfillment operations
Supporting pharmacy technicians and collaborating with a full team
Maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely workflow
Participating in team-based workflow optimization

System/Software:

Brightree (system training will be provided)

Requirements:

Active CA Pharmacist license in good standing (no negative history)
Previous retail or mail order pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Open to temp-to-perm conversion, especially for pharmacists with multiple state licenses

Client Notes:

Current team includes 3 pharmacists, 5 technicians, a clerk, and a driver
Volume: ~20 orders/day, but fulfillment is detail-heavy and time-consuming
Tech support will be providedpharmacist will never work alone
Candidates with multiple licenses will be prioritized for long-term Site Manager opportunities
