Job Description
HR Assistant needed to work in Columbia managing and performing a wide range of human resources and clerical functions. This includes organizing electronic data using various on-line systems, assisting with recruitment, monitoring personnel records, and providing administrative support to the Deputy Director. This position is also responsible for assisting with day-to-day clerical operations including answering the phone and greeting the public. Pay is $19 per hour.
Desired candidate should possess strong communication skills, excellent computer skills, have reliable attendance, and have a desire to help those in need. Our ideal candidate is an upbeat, compassionate individual who is willing to work in a fast paced, structured environment and be held to high expectations in regard to performance and initiative.
Job Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Prefer Associates degree or post-secondary training or education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and be able to accurately type 50 works per minute.
- Experience performing clerical functions in an office setting.
- Prefer work experience in a social service organization.
