Job Details:
- Position: Contract Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Waltham, MA, and surrounding areas
- Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing
- Client: Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week - guaranteed 32 hours per week
- Duration: 13-week contract with the possibility of extension
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekends and on-call (typically one weekend per month)
- Productivity: 25 per week
- Compensation: Hourly pay, negotiable based on experience and territory budget, blended pay packages available for travelers; most common range $50-$58 per hour
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k after 90 days, .
- Mileage: 48c Mileage Reimbursement visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes
- Perform assessments, administer medications, and update patient records
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, home safety, and self-care techniques
- Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Homecare Homebase software
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide care during occasional weekends as scheduled
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior agency field home health experience is required
- Software: Proficiency with Homecare Homebase & Oasis required
- Licensure: Active Massachusetts RNLicense
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification fromAmerican Heart Associationor American Red Cross, Oasis Certified strongly preferred
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation

Important Note: This is a contract position with limited training provided. Candidates must have at least one year of recent home health experience and be proficient in both OASIS documentation and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) software to be considered.
