About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled, dynamic, entrepreneurial, and highly creative individual to join our team as a Social Media & Creative Strategist Manager to oversee and execute marketing initiatives for two affiliated companies: The Stream Plan and Watermark Life. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our brand presence, communicating our value to clients and partners, and supporting business growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to simplify and present complex financial and insurance concepts in an engaging, simplified, and educational way. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution across writing, design, digital media, and social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Campaigns & Brand Identity
- Lead the conceptualization and execution of creative campaigns from ideation through pre- and post-production.
- Oversee branding, digital design, photography, styling, shoot locations, and creative direction.
- Develop presentations and client-facing materials that effectively communicate strategies and solutions.
- Shape and elevate brand identity, ensuring consistent personality, values, and voice across all channels.
Content Development & Storytelling
- Write and edit clear, compelling content including articles, case studies, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Translate complex financial and insurance concepts into approachable, visually engaging narratives.
- Ideate and produce storyboards, graphics, copywriting, and marketing assets for both digital and print media.
- Stay current on cultural trends, social shifts, and emerging technologies to continually innovate content.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
- Develop and manage content strategy and a social media calendar aligned with business goals.
- Oversee and grow social platforms (LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging channels).
- Create and manage company websites, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and up to date.
- Manage visual assets, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and consistently branded.
Collaboration, Events & Communication
- Motivate and inspire social media growth and engagement across platforms.
- Communicate effectively, simplifying complex strategies into digestible formats.
- Support and promote live events, activations, and community-driven initiatives.
- Coordinate with leadership to align marketing efforts with broader company goals.
- Monitor marketing performance and provide reports on campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Comfortable and engaging “camera personality” in front on the camera to film Instagram Reels, LinkedIn content, and TikTok’s
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a simple, engaging way.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
- Experience in both print and digital media.
- Knowledge of social media marketing best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with financial and insurance products, terms, and concepts.
- Experience in creating case studies or whitepapers.
- Website content management experience (WordPress or similar).
- Email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot, or similar).
