How you will make an impact:

As an IT Support Specialist at American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, you will serve as the first point of contact for technical support, responding to inquiries via phone and email. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving a range of technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining user productivity. The IT Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring IT systems operate efficiently and supports end users in alignment with ABHM’s mission, core values, and organizational goals. All responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM.

What you will need:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 2+ years post-secondary education, certifications, or experience in a related technical field required.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as JamfNOW preferred.
  • IT support in a Microsoft 365 environment, familiarity with multi-factor authentication (MFA), and with Apple mobile devices is strongly preferred.
  • Customer service skills with the ability to translate technical terms to an average person's understanding.
