Pay: $20.50/hour + $500 bonus
Schedule:
- Shift begins at 8:30am Thursday and ends 4:30pm Saturday
- Thursday 8:30am-10pm + sleep overnight
- Friday 6am-10pm + sleep overnight
- Saturday 6am-4:30pm

Your role as a Direct Support Professional
As a Direct Service Provider at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You'll provide vital support and guidance in both home and community settings, focusing on fostering greater independence and ensuring safety. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and facilitating transportation for enriching social and recreational activities.
Committed to promoting dignity, empathy, and inclusion, you'll help people develop essential life skills and achieve personal goals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must, as you'll proactively address any challenges that arise while carrying out our mission.

Are you the Direct Support Professional we're looking for?
To thrive as a Direct Service Provider at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, you'll need a unique set of skills and experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is essential, along with basic math skills to assist in daily living activities and resource management. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial, as building trusting relationships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) is at the core of this role. We highly value a minimum of two years of paid work or related volunteer experience with individuals with disabilities, which provides you with an invaluable understanding of their unique needs and strengths.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently will also set you apart, as you'll often need to navigate challenges and devise creative solutions. Finally, an ongoing commitment to learning and a passion for promoting dignity and inclusion will help you excel in this meaningful position.
