Summary
Hours: 6-8 Hour Shift, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
Lawrence Day School is a nurturing early childhood education center dedicated to fostering a safe, loving, and enriching environment for children to grow, learn, and thrive. We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our passionate team.
The Toddler Teacher will create a developmentally appropriate classroom environment for children ages 19-30 months, promoting emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. You will collaborate with other educators and families to support each child’s unique learning journey.

Duties
- Foster a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support toddlers in developing communication, motor, and social skills
- Maintain open and positive communication with parents and staff
- Observe and assess children’s development and document progress
- Ensure compliance with licensing and health regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 40lbs and engage in active play
