Job Description :-
· 4–5 years of technical experience in deskside and network support
· Strong knowledge of networking protocols and diagnostic tools
· Experience with Windows, macOS, iOS, and enterprise environments
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Trader and AV support experience in highly beneficial
· Serve as the escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, resolving complex technical issues.
· Provide expert-level support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and AV systems.
· Collaborate with remote network engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues including connectivity, performance, and configuration.
· Serve as senior local hands and eyes for the remote network engineering team by maintaining familiarity with the office network topology, network closets, and demarcation points; assist in troubleshooting and implementing fixes on network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and other local network devices under remote guidance.
· Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze traffic, identify bottlenecks, and ensure optimal performance.
· Research, resolve, and respond to advanced technical queries via phone, ticketing system, or in person.
· Create, edit, and interpret network diagrams and technical documentation; contribute to knowledge base articles by drafting clear instructions and documentation for newly encountered technical issues to support team-wide troubleshooting efforts.
· Install and configure hardware/software, ensuring compatibility with network infrastructure.
· Provide support for network and local printers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
· Participate in IT projects, including network upgrades, AV deployments, and system refreshes.
· Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base for recurring issues.
· Support AV systems including Polycom, Crestron, AMX, and conferencing platforms.
· Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate with OEMs for AV and network equipment.
· Act as the local conduit for delivery of information or initiatives aimed at enhancing Customer Experience between bp staff and IT management.
