Were currently seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Project Manager located inSt. Croix, USVI.
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Qualifications:
In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.
- Minimum 10 years of healthcare construction experience managing hospital, medical, or clinical facility projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple multi-million-dollar projects simultaneously.
- Strong working knowledge of AHCA, NFPA, FGI, and Joint Commission regulations.
- Proficiency in project management platforms such as Kahua, Primavera P6, or Procore
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM/CMP (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
- Masters degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
- Experience in occupied healthcare environments requiring phased construction and infection control.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), and sustainability programs (LEED, WELL).
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Direct and manage all phases of healthcare facility projectsfrom programming and design through construction and occupancyensuring alignment with client program objectives.
- Serve as primary representative, maintaining consistent communication, transparency, and accountability with owners, facility administrators, and senior leadership.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and healthcare administrators to achieve project goals within established scope, budget, and schedule.
- Manage the interface between project delivery, program funding, and client reporting requirements, ensuring efficient and compliant use of resources.
Program Administration & Contract Management
- Manage and administer consultant, contractor, and vendor agreements throughout all project phases.
- Develop bid and procurement strategies in collaboration with Senior Project Managers, Sector Leads, and Program Directors.
- Oversee pre-bid and post-bid activities, prepare boilerplate construction contracts, and expedite client execution.
- Review and approve architect/engineer (A/E) invoices, contractor pay applications, and change orders, ensuring contractual compliance and fiscal accuracy.
- Support procurement processes, including bid evaluations, recommendations, and contract amendments through project closeout.
Budget, Schedule & Risk Control
- Assist in developing and maintaining budgets, forecasts, schedules, and risk mitigation plans for assigned projects.
- Utilize established cost management systems to track expenditures, assess variances, and forecast financial outcomes.
- Oversee design reviews and cost estimate evaluations, integrating Design Manager (DM) feedback to maintain cost alignment.
- Manage the Risk Mitigation Plan, Safety Management Plan, Project Execution Plan, and Relationship Plan to ensure seamless project delivery.
Construction Oversight & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all project activities comply with AHCA, FGI Guidelines, NFPA, Joint Commission, and other healthcare regulatory codes.
- Manage site logistics, infection control, and safety protocols to minimize disruptions in active healthcare environments.
- Lead and coordinate permitting processes, confirming timely and compliant A/E submissions and approvals.
- Manage commissioning, geotechnical investigations, and other technical services supporting project delivery.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
- Implement quality management procedures, endorsing adherence to company policies and standards.
- Take responsibility for the quality and completeness of project documents under the Quality Program.
- Review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), site visit reports, and client deliverables for accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare and deliver detailed progress reports, cost summaries, and performance metrics to clients and program leadership.
Meetings & Communication
- Conduct and/or attend weekly project update meetings, owner meetings, and internal coordination sessions.
- Ensure timely issuance of design and construction meeting minutes by the A/E and contractor teams.
- Coordinate communication between Program Director, Sector Lead, and subordinate staff to ensure clear, consistent information flow across all levels of the program.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Construction Inspectors.
- Promote team development through coaching, training, and performance feedback to strengthen overall program delivery capabilities.
Strategic Support & Continuous Improvement
- Assist the Sector Lead in developing and refining policies, procedures, and best practices that enhance program performance.
- Regularly brief senior management and stakeholders on project and program status, risk posture, and performance data.

Salary:
- $155,000.00 -$170,000.00 annually
Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at managements discretion.
