Location: Dothan, Alabama
A well-regarded and expanding regional healthcare facility in Dothan, AL is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist to join its experienced inpatient care team. This is a full-time, hospital-based position offering a predictable schedule and a collaborative environment—well-suited for both seasoned physicians and recent residency graduates.
The hospital features modern facilities with robust EMR integration, 24/7 diagnostic and specialist support, and a dedicated multidisciplinary care team. You will work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and care managers to ensure high-quality outcomes and efficient transitions of care.
Key responsibilities include:

Managing inpatient admissions for patients of all ages

Conducting daily rounds and coordinating with consulting specialists

Leading discharge planning and transition-of-care protocols

Participating in quality assurance and clinical improvement initiatives
