Job DescriptionJob Summary (List Format):
- Position: GI Lab Tech (03F GI Lab)
- Location: Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–5:00pm (10-hour shifts), 13-week assignment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in GI Lab specialty required
- Certifications:
- Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Preferred: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- SGNA Associates Program Certificate for GI Tech required
- Must pass a color acuity screening test
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
- Responsibilities include:
- Working in endoscopy procedural area for both inpatients and outpatients
- Staffing pre-op, procedure, and recovery rooms
- Managing a fluctuating daily case load
- Assisting with various GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
