Job Summary

Community Clinic is seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to for our Rogers Medical Clinic. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday. CMA or RMA certification and Spanish/English bilingual ability is required.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
  • Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
  • Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
  • Administers medications via injection.
  • Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
  • Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
  • Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
  • Spanish/English bilingual ability required.
  • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
