Annual Salary – around $90k-$130k, varying depending on years of experience

A leading nonprofit behavioral health organization is seeking a Senior Program Director to oversee the operations of its Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This leadership role is responsible for managing both clinical and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and driving strategic initiatives that support integrated, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in behavioral health services, team leadership, and program development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations of the CCBHC program, ensuring alignment with state and accreditation standards (e.g., OMH, OASAS, CARF).
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of a comprehensive, integrated care model.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and staffing strategies.
• Champion a data-informed approach to population health and quality improvement.
• Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including community partners.
• Supervise all front-end revenue cycle activities and ensure efficient provider scheduling.
• Provide strategic direction to ensure program goals align with the organization’s mission and values.
• Guide and support program managers and staff through individual and group supervision.
• Use data to evaluate program performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal accountability.
• Represent the behavioral health division on internal and external committees.
• Foster strong community relationships and collaborative partnerships.
• Lead recruitment and retention efforts to build a high-performing, mission-driven team.
• Oversee quality improvement and risk management processes, including incident review and client feedback.
• Collaborate with evaluation teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
• Promote trauma-informed, compassionate care in accordance with CCBHC standards.
• Provide leadership and oversight for all program staff.
• Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations in accordance with organizational policies.
• Ensure compliance with labor agreements where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline, public health, or business administration.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
