Job DescriptionJANITORIAL WORKERMonday – Friday7:00 am – 5:00 pm$14.00 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning restrooms, offices, hallways, break rooms, and common areas.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
- Ensure that cleaning supplies and equipment are stocked and readily available for use.
- Handle the disposal of trash, ensuring proper separation and disposal procedures are followed.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning, window washing, and floor waxing.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and tasks efficiently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in janitorial or facility maintenance is a plus, however, not required
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
