Job Details
Responsibilities
1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing scheduling, and coordinating work with various contractors and stakeholders.
2. Ensure project operations are in compliance with design and specification documents and manage all change orders.
3. Manage and supervise all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
4. Conduct daily safety and coordination meetings.
5. Inspect work for quality control and compliance with design documents.
6. Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation.
7. Proactively identify and resolve issues that could affect project schedule or quality.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Superintendent or Project Superintendent for a general contractor.
2. Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
3. Strong knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Exceptional ability to read and understand complex drawings and specifications.
5. Excellent knowledge of construction cost control and scheduling.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
