Title: CT Technologist
Location: Milwaukie, OR
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (20:00 – 08:00); includes weekend overnights (Fri–Sun)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring safety, comfort, and compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain GE CT scanners and PACS systems; perform 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region of interest (ROI) measurements as needed.
  • Administer and monitor contrast media following department protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate image acquisition and patient care.
  • Review and verify imaging studies within the EPIC charting system.
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection to ensure accurate and safe diagnostic outcomes.
  • Provide imaging services for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and ensure equipment functionality through routine checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in CT and X-ray imaging for multiple body regions (head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, and musculoskeletal).
  • Skilled in 3D reconstruction, multiplanar rendering, and advanced image post-processing.
  • Familiarity with contrast media administration, radiation safety, and venipuncture techniques.
  • Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills.
  • Experience working with EPIC electronic health records system (required).
