Job Description:
\nJoin Albany Medical Center as an MRI Technologist and be a vital part of a dynamic medical imaging team. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, Section Head, and Radiologist, you will perform advanced imaging procedures, support clinical evaluations, and deliver exceptional patient care. Your role involves creating high-quality diagnostic images using your specialized modality, ensuring a safe and positive experience for every patient. You will also strictly adhere to radiation safety protocols in compliance with New York State Department of Health Code Part 16, practicing in a professional, ethical, and patient-centered manner. As technology evolves, you will engage in ongoing learning and skill development to maintain the highest standards of imaging excellence.

Certifications & Licenses (Required):

- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered upon hire\n
- New York State registration or limited permit to practice in New York upon hire\n
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified upon hire\n

Qualifications:

- Associate Degree in Applied Science – required\n
- Diploma in X-Ray – required\n
- Diploma from an accredited professional imaging program – required\n
- Previous experience in MRI imaging – preferred\n
- Maintain current competency in imaging modalities\n
- Demonstrate knowledge of patient care tailored to diverse age groups and patient needs\n
- Uphold hospital, departmental, state, and accrediting standards and policies\n
- Provide compassionate, safe, and positive patient interactions\n
