OBJECTIVE

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR professional to support onboarding, personnel record management, and administrative HR functions. This role will assist new hires with paperwork, coordinate orientation, manage employee ID badges, and ensure accurate documentation processing. Additionally, the position will provide reception support, maintain compliance with record-keeping requirements, and contribute to the efficiency of daily HR operations. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to ensuring a seamless onboarding experience and HR support.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Facilitate New Hire Paperwork – Assist newly hired employees with completing their onboarding documents in person on a bi-weekly basis. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed, collected, and verified
  2. Manage Employee ID Badges – Issue new and replacement employee ID badges, ensuring proper authorization and record-keeping.
  3. Process New Hire Documentation – Organize and submit new hire paperwork to the Payroll Department. Create and maintain personnel, medical, and confidential files, scanning documents for proper record-keeping.
  4. Coordinate Onboarding – Engage with candidates in the hiring process to schedule new hire orientation and follow up to ensure onboarding tasks are completed.
  5. Maintain Personnel Records – Organize and update personnel files, ensuring timely filing and accurate electronic documentation.
  6. Provide Reception Support – Serve as a backup receptionist by answering phone calls, directing messages, distributing incoming and outgoing mail, and greeting and signing in visitors.
  7. Support HR Operations – Provide administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department as needed, contributing to the efficiency of daily operations.
  8. Assist as Assigned – Perform additional duties as delegated by the Human Resources Generalist, supporting overall HR functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Valid CT driver’s license and good driving record.
  2. Must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
  3. Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  4. Must have ability to work independently
  5. Must be able to multitask
  6. Must take accountability for own work
  7. Must know how to prioritize without being told
  8. Must comply with CRI confidentiality policy.
