Set Sail on a New Career!
For over 40 years, our client has been at the forefront of full-service yacht repair and custom sport-fish yacht building in the United States. With a 90,000 sq. ft. facility expansion in progress, we are looking for a highly skilled Marine Carpenter to join our expert team to deliver unparalleled quality to our clients!

Your Role as a Marine Carpenter:

  • You'll craft, repair and install custom wood components aboard luxury and sportfishing yachts.
  • Repair and replace structural woodwork using hand and power tools.
  • Construct floors, doors, partitions, boxes, rails, trim, and more with precision woodworking tools.
  • Perform joinery work on vessels to fabricate and fit bulkheads, ceilings, windshield, windows, furniture, cabinets, desks, trims, handrails, cap rails and other marine related joinery work.
  • Install custom or prefabricated marine hardware, hatches and metal trim and other parts.
  • Contribute to a variety of exciting projects — from small unit replacements to full yacht refits.
  • Perform carpentry projects aboard a variety of seasoned and newly constructed yachts and sportfishing vessels.
  • Projects to range in scope and scale from one-off unit replacements to full interior / exterior refits.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 plus years of marine carpentry experience
  • Pass a background & drug screening
  • Skilled in working with marine-grade materials and expert joinery techniques (scarf, lap, dovetail, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of measurements and calculations — mastery of tools like tape measures, squares, lasers, and plumb bobs is essential.
  • Ability to layout and execute industry standard joinery, including but not limited to scarf, lap, finger, dovetail, mortise, miter, box, and bridle joints.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and concept renderings.
  • Hands-on experience with epoxy, resins, adhesives, bonding agents, and marine finishes.
  • Adept in maintaining and operating woodworking tools like saws, routers, and planers.
