Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A direct hire opportunity is available for two Pharmacy Technicians to contribute to a fast-growing, closed-door pharmacy serving patients with a high volume of prescriptions—approximately 900 per day. This role is based in Sayreville, New Jersey, and involves supporting patients in accessing a first-in-class therapy through excellent customer service and precise prescription processing.
Responsibilities include managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers, accurately entering data, preparing prescriptions, and maintaining detailed patient, physician, and prescription records. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic pharmacy environment are essential. Familiarity with Prime Rx pharmacy software is part of day-to-day operations.
Preferred candidates will have closed-door pharmacy experience, though strong retail pharmacy backgrounds are also considered. Candidates who have frequently changed pharmacy roles within the past year are less ideal. This position requires strong communication skills to deliver exceptional customer service and the ability to identify and report any adverse events following company procedures.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 1 year pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a mail order or closed-door setting
- Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy
- Experience managing high call volumes and working collaboratively within a pharmacy team
