Job DescriptionSPECIALTY INSURANCE BROKER SEEKS PL ACCOUNT MANAGER COMPENSATION:$24.00/HR- $30.00/HR SCHEDULE: Monday- Friday, 9-5pm
2nd generation, local to SW Portland, insurance brokerage is actively searching for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager - This specialty brokerage specializes in the world of antique automobiles.
JOB DUTIES:As the Personal Lines Account Manager you will be responsible for:
- Phone interaction with current customer base. Involves fielding customer request, file-documentation, processing of policy changes, billing inquiries and answering general policy questions.
- Interaction with digital & paper files including new business policy declarations, renewal policy declarations, policy changes, cancellations, etc.
- The administration of an on-going personal insurance book of business. The primary focus is the analysis of & requoting existing policies with several personal insurance companies we offer as well as cross marking new/additional policies to clients as needed.
- prepare and conduct annual reviews for larger accounts
- Assist agency with staying up-to-date on social media.
- Being the point person to receive notice of current customer claims, making initial contact with agency customers affected, working with insurance company claims adjusters on behalf of our clients and creating an optimistic experience for the client.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
- 2+ years of Insurance experience
- Property & Casualty License required
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to type 45 WPM
