Role Description
This is a full-time, Forklift Mechanic - Field role based in St. Louis, MO. The selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of forklifts and industrial equipment directly at customer locations. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostics, conducting routine maintenance, repairing mechanical and electrical components, and ensuring equipment safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will also interact professionally with customers, provide excellent service, and document work completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining forklifts, industrial vehicles, and equipment
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Effective communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with team members and clients
- Ability to manage time efficiently, multitask, and prioritize assignments independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel daily to customer locations
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training in mechanics is preferred
- Previous experience in industrial equipment or forklift repair is highly desirable
